Client’s Situation
Until 2019, the OjoPúblico team had a static (not very user-friendly) website that lacked enriched content and followed a linear news publishing model. Additionally, they sought to update their brand with a focus on modernization and adaptability across different sections and social media platforms.
The Challenge
To design, rebrand, migrate, and implement a new content portal that would fully replace the outdated platform with a modern solution developed by JERREJERRE.
Our Solution
We created a new brand that is easy to apply on social media and features a general concept that ensures strong visual identity and reuse across multiple sections of the site.
We developed a new portal using a content management system that enables journalists and editors to create content easily, quickly, and securely.
We implemented content hierarchies based on audience needs and chronology to highlight the most editorially relevant stories.
Results
Compared to 2019, we helped the OjoPúblico team increase their website visits by 50% and boost the average time spent on the site by 35%. We also maintained zero security incidents, ensuring the platform remained stable and usable for both readers and partners.
